Lake View Trail Rides is a reservation-only horseback riding destination near Guntersville, Alabama. We welcome day-trip guests from Huntsville, Chattanooga, Fort Payne, Albertville, Scottsboro, and surrounding North Alabama communities.

Add a riding lesson before your trail ride for more instruction and confidence in the saddle.
One-, two-, and six-hour rides have a two-rider minimum. One person may ride alone by paying the two-rider minimum. The Mini Trail Ride is $75 per rider with a $200 minimum booking total. Groups of 5 or more must contact us for approval and are subject to availability.
For children under 6
Little Riders Lessons
Children who are not old enough for the trail can still enjoy time in the saddle. These 30-minute riding lessons take place in a safe, contained environment and are designed especially for younger children.
Limited availability: Little Riders Lessons are offered only on dates when we are already onsite giving trail rides. They cannot be scheduled as a separate date requiring the horses to be hauled in.

Reserve ahead
A nonrefundable deposit of $25 per rider holds your reservation, with a $50 minimum deposit. The balance is due before your ride.

Dress for the trail
Wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather.

Ages 6+ on trails
Trail rides are available for guests age six and older. Younger children may book a contained 30-minute lesson.

No alcohol
Alcohol is not permitted before or during any ride. Impaired guests will not be allowed to ride.

Liability waiver
Every rider must complete a liability waiver before participating. A parent or legal guardian must sign for each minor.
